The big event around here this past week was preparing for the puppy we brought home this weekend. Our little two month old Havanese, Oliver, is adorable and we’re already in love with the newest addition to our family. It’s been amazing watching the bond grow between he and my son and I can’t wait to see how their relationship develops.

Last week I mentioned that we’ve had a late spring – which is really looking more like we’re passing spring and perhaps going right to summer – so we’re still “preparing” for the season around our house. My garden is taking shape with fruits and vegetables, and it’s time for spring decluttering. Yes, I’m as late as the season. I really do enjoy decluttering and find it very zen-like, which is likely why I connected with this post from Zen Habits on decluttering.
