Ok, they’re not really cupcakes but they looked like them so we named them Breakfast Cupcakes. Either way, the kids were pretty darn excited to have such a treat to start their day with. I balanced them with almond milk and fruit. Not the most nutritious breakfast, but every once in a while I like to mix things up in a fun way.
I’ve already had a friend ask for the recipe and I had to admit that there wasn’t one! I used Udi’s gluten free and vegan cinnamon rolls warmed in the oven with some butter, then topped with the cinnamon mix they came with.
What “treats” do your kids like to eat in the morning?
