I don’t know which is the bigger challenge: getting toddlers or my husband to eat a wide variety of fruit and vegetables. When my kids were younger they’d inquire where his vegetables went since they didn’t see any on his plate. Our story was always that “daddy loves them so much that he couldn’t wait – he ate them in the kitchen!”. They’re on to us now but thankfully that got us through those tough early years.
Some of you are in those tough early years right now. Parents talk about it all the time: Johnny won’t touch anything green, Kelly gags on vegetables, Luke thinks its more fun to throw peas on the floor…sound familiar?
There’s lists and tips on helping picky eaters everywhere, and I’m sure you’ve found a few of these yourself. Here’s something fun that was shared with me earlier this week by a parent who shared it with her toddler (with success!!). If your kids are fans of Sesame Street, give this one a try.
