I love that, with each new sunrise we have the opportunity to start over again. No matter what happened yesterday, today can be a whole new level of awesomeness, and tomorrow can be even better than that…if that’s even possible! Some of you know that I’ve been cooking up some new things to share here at Feed Our Families, and I’m soooooo close to sharing what that is. Soon, I promise!
But in the meantime, I want your help in making Feed Our Families even better!
Here’s how you can join in.
First, I want to provide more of what really helps you! I know – it sounds like that old saying “help me, help you” but it’s true!
I could ask you each to send me an email but that requires a lot of thinking and doing on your part so I’ve made it really easy on all of us with this quick survey to help me understand your needs and challenges and desires and frustrations.
Would you take just a couple minutes to fill in the anonymous survey? It’s easy and short.
Would you share it with a friend? I’m hoping for lots of good, juicy feedback.
Next…frustrations with Facebook!
Have you noticed changes on the friends and other updates you see on Facebook? Last fall, Facebook decided that they can better select what you see than you can – how nice of them, right? There’s all sorts of frustrations and speculations going around but the bottom line is that if you were relying on seeing my updates on Facebook, it’s time to consider having them magically appear in your email inbox to make sure you don’t miss anything.
How do you make meals happen?
It’s been a while since I’ve asked for readers in the community to share their story but I know we all like reading them! So, if you want to tell us how you make meals happen in your home, or have any tips or tricks to share with us, let me know! Here’s a few examples of the stories we’ve already shared. As you’ll see, length isn’t important and it’s pretty simple. It’s all about being helpful. Send me an email at ginarau(at)feedourfamilies(dot)com if you’re interested.
Curious about our story? Have you seen my semi-new About Me page? It’s a bit more personal and I reveal a secret many of you don’t know about me. Check it out, come back here and let me know what you think!
And now…some yummy wintery goodness.
Check out this Pinterest board where I’ve been collecting winter dishes that make my mouth water and tummy growl.
Lastly I want to remind everyone that this is “our” community. I’d be really lonely and pathetic without each of you so, thanks to everyone for being part of this community. I invite you all to share more recipes and ideas, or questions, in the comments and on Facebook so that we can all learn from each other. You all have tips and tricks that I’d love to hear about.
